Each year the Center for Jewish Studies (CJS) provides support to a large number of events and projects on Duke campus. If you would like CJS to co-sponsor your event or project please submit the following form. We ask the event or project connect in some way to the mission and vision of the CJS.
The Center for Jewish Studies promotes academic research, scholarly exchange, and student learning across a range of disciplines that engage with Jewish life, thought, and creativity across three millennia and around the world, including but not limited to history, religion, philosophy, public policy, anthropology, literatures, languages, arts, and cultures. The Center supports a wide range of courses, an undergraduate certificate, academic programs and events across the Duke campus, and global academic initiatives in the broad field of Jewish studies.
In return for co-sponsorship, we will provide our logo so that you may list us as a co-sponsor using our logo/name. We ask that you mention CJS at your event. We may also publicize your event or project in our newsletter, Facebook, or other social media sites if provided with additional marketing materials.
Requests will be reviewed by the CJS Director and the Executive Committee at least once a month. We ask that you allow us four weeks to come to a decision.
Student groups are required to identify the Duke faculty member directly affiliated with their event.
